Who is Jocelin Haas, a bilingual (French/English) event host?
An international journey in service of your events
My path hasn’t followed a conventional trajectory — and that is precisely what fuels my ease on stage today.
After an initial semi-professional experience in table tennis, I quickly moved into environments where people, stagecraft, and interaction are central.
I notably worked at Club Med, a defining experience that gave me the opportunity to host, present, and speak in front of very diverse audiences, within an international, multicultural setting. That immersion taught me to adapt constantly, capture attention, and create an immediate connection with a crowd.
In parallel, I developed a true stage discipline through stand-up comedy, first as a comedian, then as an actor — training at The Second City improv conservatory in Toronto, and taking on-camera acting classes in New York City and Montreal. I also reached the semi-finals of France’s Got Talent (2019). These experiences gave me a refined command of rhythm, silence, improvisation, and stage presence — skills that are now essential to my work as an event host and Master of Ceremonies.
All of this, strengthened by international experience and bilingual work in both French and English, is now the foundation of my professional approach on stage.
An unconventional journey, shaped by the stage and an international outlook
My journey hasn’t been a straight line — and that is precisely what makes my strength on stage today.
Coming from high-level sport and driven by a passion for communication and performance, I developed early on a taste for teamwork, pushing beyond limits, and true commitment.
My international experience, particularly in North America, has enabled me to work in both French and English, understand different event cultures, and adapt my style to each audience.
That openness, combined with in-depth stage and public-speaking training, naturally led me into the roles of event host, Master of Ceremonies, and professional speaker.
Event host, Master of Ceremonies, and corporate speaker
Today, I work as an event host and Master of Ceremonies across a wide range of corporate formats:
-
conventions and seminars
-
conferences and panel discussions
-
awards ceremonies and official events
-
product launches and institutional events
As a bilingual speaker, I adapt to the stakes of each event — tone, pace, stage presence, audience interaction, and seamless coordination with technical and artistic teams.
Seamless, natural bilingual hosting in French and English
Being bilingual in French and English is not just a language skill — it is the ability to build a connection across multicultural audiences.
I host events entirely in French, entirely in English, or in a bilingual format, with natural transitions and a stage presence tailored to each context.
This fluency is especially valued for international events, European conventions, and corporate gatherings bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds.
A human, elegant, audience-first approach
Every event is unique. My approach is built on listening, preparation, and a nuanced understanding of your objectives.
On stage, I focus on hosting that is smooth, professional, and engaging — always in service of your message and the participant experience.
Discreet when needed, energising when it matters: I adapt to your event’s rhythm to help ensure its success.
